2d/1n Eastern Birding Loop
DAY 1 - 8:00 AM BIrd outing starts at El Yunque National Forest
(Tody, Elfin-woods Warbler, Spindalis, Tanager, Bullfinch, Green
Mango, Mango, Emerald, Amazon, Euphonia). In the afternoon we
will go to Ceiba and Fajardo (Yellow-shouldered Blackbird (rare),
Flycatcher, Adelaide´s Warbler, Antillean Crested Hummingbird,
Caribbean Elaenia,Green-throated Carib and night owling at El
Yunque (Owl).
DAY 2 - 8:30 AM Birding in Luquillo (Lizard Cuckoo, Woodkpecker,
Oriole)
$699 per person on shared or private birding trip when you provide your personal expenses (transfers, meals and hotel). Minimum 2 people. Limited anniversary offer. Price valid until December 15, 2025.

2d/1n All-inclusive Extended Eastern
Birding Loop
This all-inclusive birding package is a extended version of the
Eastern Birding Loop (above): two full birding days including one
night owling.
DAY 1 - 7:00 AM Pick-up starts 7:00 AM San Juan or Condado
or 8:00 AM if you stay in Luquillo (hotel for the night before is not
included in price). Bird outing at El Yunque National Forest and
Luquillo (Tody, Spindalis, Tanager, Bullfinch, Green Mango,
Emerald, Mango, Oriole, Flycatcher, Woodpecker, Lizard Cuckoo,
Adelaide´s Warbler; rare endemics in the area: Euphonia, Amazon,
Elfin-woods Warbler). Night owling at El Yunque.
Included: Snacks, picnic style lunch, dinner; hotel, transportation.
DAY 2 - 8:00 AM After breakfast we will have a second chance for
our Elfin-woods Warbler, Euphonia, and hummingbirds. We will also
go to Ceiba and Fajardo for the Yellow-shouldered Blackbird, plus
Antillean Crested Hummingbird, Green-throated Carib, Caribbean
Elaenia. After a late lunch we will drive to Loíza (Vireo) with drop-off
in San Juan. If you are flying back home on this day, you should
book your flight after 6:00 PM.
Included: Snacks, lunch; transportation.
If you are short of time and want to see as many endemic bird
species as possible, this could be your best option as we spend less
driving and have more time for birds. A local resident Certified Tour
Guide will take you to the best birding spots of the region:
- Eastern Birding Loop (1 full and 1 half day) / Extended Birding Loop (2 full days)
