BEST PRACTICES

If you are going to use your own spray insect repellent be careful as it goes to the plants, river streams, cars or visitors
in the area; natural ingredients, either cream or lotion is better for the environment.

Nevertheless, you should be careful as the ingredients in your hands could damage sensible parts of the vehicle and a
fee will be charged to your credit card.

Trash free zones applies to all places we visit and to our vehicles.

DISCLAIMER

I have read, understand, and agree with the Terms and Conditions. As the undersigned participant, and in
representation of myself, my family or my group, affirm that I am age 18 years or older, that I have read and
understand this Terms and Conditions and that this is a release of liability, as I am freely signing this agreement
(booking with your company).

When I book and pay your deposit or full payment of a tour or activity with AdvenTours / Birding PUERTO RICO, I
acknowledge that my participation in your activities entails known and unanticipated risks that could result in physical or
emotional injury, paralysis, death, or damage to yourself, property or third parties. I also understand that such risks
simply cannot be eliminated without jeopardizing the essential qualities of the activity I voluntarily enrolled.

I understand and acknowledge that AdvenTours / Birding PUERTO RICO acts only as agent of the hotels, shuttle, tour
companies, restaurants or owner or contractors, or by persons in their employ, providing accommodations,
transportation, tours, outdoor activities or other services.

*I understand and acknowledge that AdvenTours / Birding PUERTO RICO only provides transportation for outdoor
adventures that I have already purchased and that you are only responsible for the transfers or transportation if I

have booked any outdoor activity with another company, such as:

kayaks, boats,

bicycles, diving,

snorkeling, white

river rafting, body

rafting, caving, spelunking, and any

other related

activity

*I understand and acknowlege that AdvenTours / Birding PUERTO RICO that, when providing transfers or
transportation, is not responsible for any cancellation or delay on any booking that I have made through other
companies either by traffic delays, weather, etc.

I understand and acknowledge that AdvenTours / Birding PUERTO RICO, owner, tour guides and/or drivers are not
responsible or liable for any act, injury, loss, death, accident, damage, delay, omission, irregularity or non-performance
occurring in connection with these arrangements.

I acknowledge if I or any anyone from my family or group is hurt or property is damaged during our participation in any
of your activities, I/we will be found by a court of Law to have waived our right to maintain a lawsuit against AdvenTours
/ Birding PUERTO RICO, your guides and/or drivers or any of the companies that you act as agents, on the basis of any
claim from which I/we have released you. Henceforth, when I pay for your services I agree to participate in your
activities and use, if applicable, your equipment and facilities, and I further agree to indemnify and hold harmless
AdvenTours / Birding PUERTO RICO from any and all claims which are brought by and which are in any way connected
with such use or participation in any of your activities.

When booking any activity (nature, cultural, outdoors) with AdvenTours / Birding PUERTO RICO, I agree to assume all
risk of personal injury or loss, bodily injury (including death), damage to, or loss, or destruction of any personal
property resulting from or arising out of participation in selected activity. I also release, waive, indemnify, hold harmless,
and discharge AdvenTours / Birding PUERTO RICO, Hilda Morales-Nieves, and any independent contractor for
AdvenTours / Birding PUERTO RICO from all claims, damages, and injuries arising out of the service or activity. I intend
that this agreement shall apply to the fullest extent permitted by law to all claims, regardless of whether founded, in
whole or in part, on any negligent act or omission of any of the released parties.

In case of any claim, only local Laws will apply on any legal issue and should be resolve only in a local court in

Puerto

Rico. All

expenses, including

ou and

our

guides and/or drivers, should and will be paid by the

person,

agency,

company or legal firm who

starts the

complaint no matter Judge´s decision on the case.

On wildlife observation activities, you cannot guarantee sightings as Nature and wild animals are unpredictable. If
necessary, you reserve the right to change the itinerary in order to improve the trip depending on the season or
unpredictable events that you cannot control. If changes are made prior to the trip, I will be notified.

I understand, acknowledge and agree that I should purchase a travel insurance that covers all the activities I have
booked with and through AdvenTours / Birding PUERTO RICO, including global rescue, plus a the cancellation insurance
offer by Peek.com at the end of the booking procedure.

I recognize and agree that I should follow instructions when participating in any indoor or outdoor activity since it may
be hazardous and involve a risk of physical injury. I expressly assume all risks associated with participating in the trip,
including but not limited to: variable weather conditions; encounters with wildlife; existing and changing trail conditions;
rocks; stumps; trees; erosion; collisions with natural objects; man-made objects; or other persons; and variations in
terrain. Despite all these and other potential risks, I voluntarily accept all risks and choose to participate in the trip.

When I sign the waivers electronically on the client´s portal (Peek.com) I acknowledge that I have read, understand and
agree to these Terms and Conditions and any other signed electronically.

AdvenTours acts only as agent of the hotels, bus, and boat companies, restaurants or owner or contractors, or by
persons in their employ, providing accommodations, transportation or other services.

We are not responsible or liable for any act, injury, loss, death, accident, damage, delay, omission, irregularity or non-
performance occurring in connection with these arrangements.

AdvenTours / Birding PUERTO RICO reserves the right to decline or retain any person(s) as member of the tour at any
time.

AdvenTours / Birding PUERTO RICO cannot assume responsibility of any fee or cost of travel arrangements not made
through us.

As a visitor, you have the responsability to follow all local municipal, state, and federal government Laws, including any
health protocols.

It is understood that by booking our services you agree with these Terms and Conditions.
