Q & A

Since we require prepaid reservations, we accept the following payment methods:

  • Credit cards - Our online booking system is managed by Peek Pro (2048 bit SSL Encrypted Payment), which accepts all mayor
    credit cards:  American Express, VISA, Mastercard, Discover, JCB, GPay, Apple Pay.   Prices are displayed and processed in USD.
    The booking system will add the credit card and booking transaction fees, plus Peek Protect if you decide to buy their protection.

    When balance due is paid cash on site and you decide at the last minute to charge it to your credit card, a $15 fee will be added to
    your credit card.  

    If you prefer to charge to your credit card the tip for the Guide and/or Driver, please let us know in the "Comments" section at the end
    of the booking process.

  • Direct deposit* - you should check if your bank allows ACH and it should be free; any fee charged to our bank will be payed cash on
    site by our customer.

  • Western Union** (cash on location an option for clients in Europe, Canadá, Central and South América)

  • ATH Móvil (customers from Puerto Rico)

  • Wire transfers must be approved by us, any fee charged to us will be paid by customer on site.  This fee usually starts in $45.  
    Funds should be USD and available before your trip.  Your credit card information should be submitted in order to guarantee any
    balance due or fees charged by our bank.

  • We will not guarantee a date unless we receive a deposit or full payment, depending on selected services or activities.

  • Group tours (universities, schools, incentive travel, travel agents, tour operators, etc.), checks are not accepted unless it is a certified
    check and sent via regular mail at least two months before departure.   Any payment will be non-refundable.

Do you sell travel insurance?

AdvenTours / Birding PUERTO RICO is not responsible for the loss, damage, theft of luggage or personal belongings, or for personal
injury, accidents or illness.

For your protection, it is important and
strongly recommended that you have or purchase adequate insurance before departing to
Puerto Rico that includes cancellation by you or tour operator, tour/activity interruption, coverage for hurricanes, earthquake,natural
disasters, emergency medical coverage, pre-existing medical conditions, student travel . Before buying your travel insurance make
sure that it includes the outdoor activities you want to book with us, specially outdoor adventures.

If you purchase Peek Protect, please read their terms and conditions as any claim is done directly with them, not us.

Do you sell Gift Certificates?

Gift Certificates are advertised during the high season, but are available during the year.  These certificates are non-refundable and valid
as per included dates in it.  They are redeemable using the code provided in your confirmation email.  It is important that you save any
document related to the Gift Certificate purchase.
