When you book a tour or activity with standards fares, you should never expect that the tour will be private. We will fill the seats to capacity if possible.

It is understood that when you complete the booking process, you agree with our Terms and Conditions.

The first step to book our tours and activities is check for availability as
most of our services are offered on a private basis. All our activities are
available online through Peek.com, company in charge of the booking
process and credit card handling.
Please read carefully each one of the steps in order to be able to
complete and send the AVAILABILITY REQUEST.
What happens after you complete the booking online request?
- You will receive an email with the copy of your request.
- Upon receipt of your request, we will verify if selected date(s),
drivers, or guides are available.
- If the date is available, we will confirm you in the next 24 hours.
- We will not charge your credit card during the first 48 hours of
your booking.
- You will have 48 hours to cancel your booking without it been
charged to your credit card, please inform us via email before this
48 hours window ends, preguntame@adventourspr.com.
- Your credit card will be charged after 48 hours of confirming your
booking.
- Bookings made with less than 72 hours of the activity date will be
charged as a full payment and as a private activity.
- A receipt of your payment will be sent automatically to your email;
this will complete your booking online. This voucher is your
**TICKET**.
- No refunds for the deposit will be given after completing the
online booking.
- Balance is due cash on site. No show? Balance due will be
charged to your credit card; a process fee will be added to the
balance, including the no show fee.
What is the difference between a private, a personalized
(customized) and an open/shared/public tour?
This is one of the questions most people ask us. During the
past 30 years we have been offering island-wide tours on a
private and customized basis. The basic differences of these
options are as follows using El Yunque National Forest as an
example.
- Private tours are available for solo travelers, individuals,
extended family, and groups. As we do not mix clients,
the customer looking for this type of tour selects the date,
subject to availability of our staff and vehicles.
- Personalized or customized tours are designed as per
client´s needs and requirements no matter the size of the
group or the type of tours/activities they are looking for.
Example, El Yunque half-day Birding Trip
combined with the Butterfly Tour and dinner.
- Open or public tours are part of our seasonal or
special events offered on specific dates only in El
Yunque National Forest. These tours/activities are open
to anyone that wants to join although a minimum of
participants is required to offer tours as special events.
I´m traveling alone, what should I do?
All tours are offered with a minimum of participants. When you
book as a solo traveler, we will open the activity as a Special
Shared Event. If the minimum required is not reached, you
must pay for the minimum of required participants.

Do you accept last minute reservations?
Reservations should be made at least 72 hours before the
selected activity.
Reservations made with less than 72 hours in advance will be
considered private and will not be opened as a Special Shared
Event. A ticket will be open to start the booking process.
For our business, high season is from September thru April.
We always suggest to make reservations if you are planning to
visit Puerto Rico during that period of time.

TOUR PACKAGES
Tour packages are offered on a private basis unless we schedule a
tour package as a shared or public event, specifically for birding.
Private Groups
- If you are in charge of a group, we will accept only one payment
for the group, not individual payments for each participant.
- All participants in your group must read, agree, and sign the
waiver as they should have read our General Terms and
Conditions, no exemptions. The leader will be responsible
and will acknowledge that all the information has been shared
with all the participants.
- When booking a tour package, make sure that arrival and
departure flights allows enough time to start the activity on time.
We strongly suggest that you consider booking one extra night
the night before the birding trip starts and at the end of the
activity. We have several options of historical and cultural
activities available that can be added at the beginning or end
- If you are in charge of a private group with members of your
group arriving at different times, we suggest that you book one
night before the activity starts. We have several options of

- Deposit to guarantee the date of your private tour package is
- On tour packages, do not book online if you want the full amount
of your payment covered when you buy Peek Protect. Please
contact us and we will open a ticket for the full payment.
- Our General Terms & Conditions applies to all tour packages,
plus any other condition included in the online booking process
Are tour packages offered only as a private activity or do
you open tour packages as a shared event?
- Private tour packages - Each tour package is designed
as a private activity with a minimum of participants to
guarantee it; henceforth, the tickets are not sold
individually
When you book a private tour package, you can select
the date you want to start the trip subject to availability
(Guide, Driver, vehicle, etc.).
- Personalized or customized tour packages are
designed as per client´s needs and requirements no
matter the size of the group or the type of tours/activities
they are looking for.
You will need to complete the request online; the amount
paid is non-refundable, but it will be deducted from the
total amount of your purchase.
- Open or public shared tour packages are part of our
seasonal or special events offered on specific dates.
These tours/activities are open to anyone that wants to
join although a minimum of participants is required to
offer tours as special events.
We will not charge your credit card until we reach the
minimum of participants.
I´m traveling alone, what should I do?
- The prices on our tour packages are per person on a
double room.
- Solo traveler reservations will be accepted as soon as we
reach the minimum required for each tour package. A
waiting list will be available, but we cannot guarantee that
a solo traveler will be matched with another solo traveler.
PEEK PROTECT
What is Peek Protect?
- Any online reservation you make with us is handled by our reservation
software vendor, Peek Pro.
- Peek Pro, now provides the option to protect your purchase directly with
them through Peek Protect. You can buy this protection at the end of the
booking process (see link to the right).
- If you decide not to purchase Peek Protect, our Cancellation Policy
will apply. We strongly recommend to buy a travel insurance before
departing to Puerto Rico that includes cancellation by you or tour operator,
tour/activity interruption, coverage for hurricanes, natural disasters,
emergency medical coverage, pre-existing medical conditions, student
travel . Before buying your travel insurance make sure that it includes the
outdoor activities you want to book with us, specially outdoor adventures.
Peek Protect is an exclusive product that offers booking
protection for qualified products such as rentals and
activities when you book with a participating partner.
When booking with a partner that offers Peek Protect:
At checkout, you’ll see the option to add Peek Protect for a
small fee on eligible products (like rentals or activities).
If you choose to add it, your booking is covered against
certain disruptions.
If you need to cancel and qualify under the program’s rules,
the protection provider will refund you directly not the
business.
