It all start on October 16, 1992.
Thirty years ago nobody believed that a woman could start
a tour business in Mayaguez. It was something for men to
be in charge, specially in San Juan. Well, she proved them
to be wrong.
Thirty years ago there was no internet or cell phones. How
did she managed to convince people to visit the west and
central regions. Why it was so important to sponsor local
initiatives? Too many things to do and places to visit so
different from San Juan: real coffee plantations,
archaeological sites, secluded waterfalls, museums, natural
landmarks, historical events and sites, and much more
within a two-hour drive from San Juan
Everything started with seven iconic themes: La Ruta del
Café, The Land of the Pirates, Mayagüez Historical Walk,
Hiking Experiences (Maricao and Guánica), San Germán
Colonial, bird watching trips, and Parque de las Cavernas
del Río Camuy combined with the Arecibo Observatory.

and metro area, specially to the inner depth of our
mountains. If you plan to stay in San Juan, check these
activities and tours. Transportation from selected hotels in
the metropolitan area and Dorado is available.
Suggested activities from Mayagüez: (visit the links)
Historical Walks - Thematic walks (history, PhotoWalk,
drawing, gastronomy, spiritual traditions, and architecture)
at Mayagüez and San Germán.
Bird Watching - Full/half day birding trips that you can
customize your trip as per your special needs: Maricao &
Las Marías, Lajas & Cabo Rojo, Western Birding Loop,
The Triangle, Aguadilla & Rincón. Bird photography is
also available. This is an excellent opportunity to see the
Puerto Rican Tanager.
City Tours - La Sultana del Oeste, Where´s the Pork.
Sightseeing Tours - Half and full day activities to places
located at least 1-1/2 hour from Mayagüez: La ruta del
café, Chorote, Ruta Taína, Ponce es Ponce, and
Catholic Heritage. These activities can be modified as a
Road Trip with a private chauffeur to take you around.
Nature Program - Nature-oriented half and full day
activities at least 1-1/2 hrs. from Mayagüez: oldest
mountain complex, a National Natural Landmark, third
longest subterranean river on Earth, endemic butterflies.
Outdoor Adventures - All our outdoor adventures are
available only for private groups.For white river rafting,
transportation is available from November thru December.
Hiking & Trekking. Customized trips include: kayaking,
fishing, boat trips, caving, spelunking, ziplining,
diving, snorkeling.
Tour packages are available with a minimum of 2 PAX.
