| Due to the limited access to El Yunque after the impact of hurricanes Irma and María, at this moment we are allowed to offer only three trips per week (maximum of four people per trip) which means that only 12 people can visit the Forest weekly with each company with these special permits. Our birding trips are offered on a private basis, on-demand, or as a public event. Private birding trips - Since we can only offer three trips per week to El Yunque, private birding trips requires a minimum of 4 seats. We start at 8:30 AM, but itineraries are flexible as it will be your birding trip! We meet in Luquillo; if you need transfers, please let us know. On-demand birding trips are those where you will like to share the trip with other birders. You choose the date of a half-day or a full day birding trip and we open the date for other birders that will like to join you. A non-refundable deposit for one person will be required as the minimum for this type of trip is two people. If the minimum is not reached, you will be required to pay for the minimum of two people. If you are joining a preexisting on-demand birding trip, the departure time has been chosen by the original booking party. To start your on-demand birding trip booking process, please require information for our half and full day trips. Public events are those scheduled on a specific date as an special offer or that the logistics allows us to offer it as such. These public events require a minimum of participants (4) and a maximum of 10 people. You meet your guide on site. If you need transfers, please as for quote. |

| Due to the number of people visiting El Yunque National Forest during the Holy Week/Weekend (Wednesday through Sunday, including Good Friday and Easter) and the month of July, we DO NOT OFFER tours to El Yunque other than the Night Hike and/or Ancestral Areyto. Access to the Forest is limited and we cannot guarantee the quality during those days. |
