The Epicurious Expeditions depicted in this section are offered on a private basis. |
These epicurious expeditions are offered as half or full day departing from San Juan or meeting your host on site. Flexible itineraries and pick/ups. We have included a variety of ancestral beverages and cooking techiniques, such as maví, casabe, and barbaca. From Africa we got the mofongo, ñame, bacalaítos, alcapurrias, and tostones. From the Spaniards and Arab influence we have several dishes: the cochifritos (fried pork ins Spain) and we adopted the cuchifritos as anything that is fried with our without pork; plus, sancocho and asopao. We blend history and culture with tasty flavors. Be aware, eating is our main objective! |
