history from another perspective that you will
not find in the history books: the spiritual
traditions of our Ancestors.
Join us in this journey through time and space:
from the indigenous people living in Puerto Rico
before the Europeans arrived, the different
ethnic groups brought from África as slaves to
the first criollos. As local priests tried to impose
a new religion, the slaves, changed the names
of their gods and referred to them using the
name of catholic saints. But what about the
Taínos? Do you know that some people believe
that the real religion in Puerto Rico is
espiritismo (spiritualism).

Where we go? We will visit Caguas with stops
at Museo de Caguas (local archaeological
findings), a short walk will take to a local
botánica.
