is a continue education professor at
the University of Puerto Rico at
Mayagüez in charge of the Sign
Language courses.   She will be your
host in the western region.

Martín "Ca Ciba Opil" Veguilla has been
in charge of the Ancestral Areytos (Taíno
ceremonies) at El Yunque National
Forest for more than ten years.

In 2005 he was recognized as the
Artisan of the Year by the Puerto Rico
Tourism Board.  He is President of
Concilio Taíno Guat-ma-cu a Borikén.

We are honored to have Martín as part

Sergio joined us as a part-time assistant birder in

He is a Certified Environmental Interpreter  (APIE,
2012) and was awarded as Volunteer of the Year
(APIE, 2006). He coordinates the Caño Tiburones
Bird Count.  At this moment, he is in charge of double
checking rare bird sightings for e-Bird.

Hobbies:  reading, baseball, and exploring Nature.

Sandra will be your host when you
book one of our Bar Hopping Tours
(Old San Juan, Isla Verde, Luquillo) or
the Oktoberfest Extravaganza.  Do you
want to learn to mix your drinks the
right way?  Ask Sandra, she will
probably share one of her homemade
drinks (
coquito, bilí or pitorro).   

Sandra will be your host in the north
and eastern regions.

We met Carlos more than 15 years ago
and since them we established a
partnership in the western region, also
known as Porta del Sol.   Although he
looks like a clone of President Obama,
Carlos is 100% Puerto Rican.   Carlos
will be your host in the western region.

Friendly, funny, excellent driver and
host.  Groups will be in good hands
with him.

Coeli Museum in San Germán.  When
she is off, she is in charge of several
of our trips in the western region,
incluing our new tour

Energy since we met her more than
20 years ago.

What can we say about Manolo?  He is funny, people´s
person, family guy, and excellent host.  Manolo worked
hard in the reconstruction of Puerto Rico after
hurricanes Irma and María as he is also a truck driver
carrying concrete lighting poles all around our territory.  
He is a hell of a driver!  

Hilda established the company in 1992 when just a
few females where offering guiding services on their
own.  She is in charge of our birding trips and night
hikes, but can find her either driving, hiking or
kayaking with you.   Author of a series of books
about birds, including

With a major in business administration from the
Interamerican University, he moved to San Juan while
joining the family business. He is also Manager at
Dos Molinos Coffee Shop.  While living in Mayagüez,
he was co-founder and member of  Chocolate Blunt
were he played the drums and guitar.  He is the
genius behind the new improvements in our company.

What we can say about Sammy?  He has more than
30 years of experience as a guide.  A former teacher,
he has a MA in Geography and PhD in history.  
Before he moved to the States, he owned Go Hiking
Puerto Rico in Barranquitas.   

Now he is back and will be your guide for some of
our trekking adventures starting in January, 2019.
