| The name used for this birding trip was Medio Mundo and Daguao, but the official name of the place is Ceiba State Forest and now rented to a private organization. It is located in and out the old naval station at Roosevelt Road. Management has not been the best as severe damage due to construction destroyed part of the habitat of the Yellow-shouldered Blackbird. Since the ferry to Vieques and Culebra Islands was transfered to Ceiba, it is not safe to go birding to all the locations within the old naval base due to increased uncontrolled traffic.. |
