|Combine the half-day El Yunque Birding Trip
with Medio Mundo and Daguao (Ceiba
Forest) and save! You will be visiting
different birding spots in Río Grande,
Luquillo, Fajardo, and Ceiba..
Hilda Morales - Owner
If you plan to stay in San Juan, you probably are evaluating if you have enough time
to go birding to the west. Both regions are excellent for birding. The benefits for
choosing the eastern side is that you spend less time on the road as our meeting
point is the town of Luquillo, 45 minutes from the airport. Less driving, more time for
the birds. For more birding trips in the east region, please visit this link.

FULL-DAY BIRDING TRIP
8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
The Eastern Birding Loop is a
long full-day trip that goes from
the mountains to the coast. Due
to new regulations at El Yunque,
we can only visit the Forest
three times a week. If we are
already booked for those three
trips, we will visit the edge of the
Forest and CBC routes.
The good news are that during
the morning we can go to the
Forest or to areas close to it that
have similar species. During the
afternoon, we look for more
birds at the old naval station at
Roosevelt Roads (Ceiba).
This birding trip starts in Luquillo
and ends in Ceiba.
Pick-up and drop-off available.

|Unique opportunity to see endemics species, such as our Oriole, and the possibility to look for the rare Yellow-shouldered Blackbird in the same day.
Good news! We found two juveniles of the Yellow-shouldered Blackbird on June 12, 2018. Many people
thought that hurricanes Irma and María killed the whole population, but they are trying to come back!
|During Winter time there are possibilities to see
the Puerto Rican Screech Owl during this trip.
|Due to the number of people visiting El Yunque National Forest during the Holy Week/Weekend (Wednesday through Sunday, including Good Friday and Easter) and the month of July, we DO NOT OFFER
tours to El Yunque other than the Night Hike and/or Ancestral Areyto. Access to the Forest is limited and we cannot guarantee the quality during those days.
|When you book directly with us, 100% of your money is spent locally, not abroad.

Hilda, thank you for 3 wonderful outings in
Puerto Rico. We really appreciated your
knowledge and helpfulness. We would never
have found many of those birds on our own.
