| The Land of the Piratas is one of the first iconic tours created when we started our business in October, 1992. The first stop is at los Morrillos de Cabo Rojo, built in 1882 by the Spaniards. Then we do a short stop at the Visitors Center of the Cabo Rojo National Wildlife Refuge to learn more about this important site for migratory birds. We continue our journey to Poblado Boquerón, home of Roberto Cofresí, one of our most notorious pirates in 1820´s who died in 1825 after the capture of the Anne; one of the Caribbean’s most feared pirates. Myths, legends, and stories, are part of this little town. At Poblado Boquerón we will be one hour where you can explore, sponsor local businesses, rent a kayak, eat seafood. Our last stop will be at Rock N Go in Cabo Rojo. |

| National Natural Landmarks Cabo Rojo The scenic Cabo Rojo site is an excellent example of a tombolo (tied island) with two sand spits. The landform resembles a large letter Y with a bar across the top enclosing a salt water lagoon. The site includes mangroves, beaches, reddish cliffs, xeric vegetation and seabird nesting habitat.
