Certified Interpretive Tour Guide Service for the EcoSensitive Traveler

Do you accept online bookings?

We will be working with a local partner to sell on an exclusive
basis some of our tours/activities, which means that 100% of your
investment will stay in Puerto Rico and not abroad.  All online
bookings will be 100% non-refundable unless you want to book
directly with us.

Once we accept booking online, if you are traveling solo, DO
NOT
book online.  Please contact us at your convenience.

Do groups need to make reservations?

Yes, groups will need reservations; special terms and conditions
apply, including full-payment at least one month before the trip.

Which payment methods you accept?

As of this date, we don´t accept credit cards, nevertheless, you
have several options to choose from as payment method (please
verify which is the best option for your needs as many of these
companies charge a fee). Please use any of these methods if you
are booking at least two weeks before the trip.

  • Direct deposit - you should check if your bank allows
    ACH and it should be free; any fee charged to our bank will
    be payed cash on site.*

  • PopMoney* (online payment for residents of the United
    States - you should contact us and check availability
    before sending money.  Payments should be made
    ONLY to our business bank account, NOT through
    our telephone number or email address.  You should
    wait until we submit bank information).  Funds should
    be available made immediate, otherwise, we cannot
    guarantee your trip.  Plan ahead of time if you are going to
    pay using this method so that the funds are available
    before your selected tour/s.  Remember that we hold
    selected dates for 2 days; reservation will be granted to the
    first person that pays the trip with immediate funds.

  • Western Union** (cash on location an option for clients in
    Europe, Canadá, Central and South América)


  • Wire transfers must be approved by us, any fee
    charged to us will be paid by customer on site.  This fee
    usually starts in $45.  Funds should be USD and available
    before your trip.**

For last minute reservations, payments should be made
only by
direct deposit
; funds should be available immediately,
otherwise, we cannot guarantee your trip.  

Payments and/or balance should be paid before your trip,
otherwise we cannot guarantee your trip unless you have a
written authorization by the owner of the company.

We
WILL NOT ACCEPT payment through POPMoney send to our
email or phone number,
only through our bank account as a
direct deposit.

Which payment methods you don´t accept?

  1. Checks (personal, bank, credit unions, etc.).
  2. Money orders
  3. Credit cards
  4. PayPal, including Xoom and Venmo
  5. Facebook Messenger
  6. Square Cash
  7. Payments send through POPMoney using our email or
    phone number.

Do you sell travel insurance?

AdvenTours is not responsible for the loss, damage, theft of
luggage or personal belongings, or for personal injury, accidents
or illness.

For your protection, it is important and
strongly recommended
that you have or purchase adequate insurance, including trip
cancellation and interruption of trip through your authorized travel
agent.  

Do you sell Gift Certificates?

Gift Certificates are advertised during the high season, but are
available during the year.  These certificates are non-refundable
and valid as per included dates in it.  They are redeemable using
the code provided in your confirmation email.  It is important that
you save any document related to the Gift Certificate purchase.

IMPORTANT NOTES

Before sending payments online, please make sure that the
system used by the company or bank you selected is available in
Puerto Rico.  In the future, these steps will be simplified as we are
evaluating to integrate direct online payments in our website.

STEP 3 – PAYMENT METHODS
  • On all basic trips full payment is required.  Please refer to
    the table on the right for non-refundable deposit/fees.

  • When booking transfers (pick-up / drop-off), a non-
    refundable full-payment is required, plus deposit for
    selected tour.

  • Before sending your payment, please read our Cancellation
    Policy (Step 4).

  • Reservations will be 100% completed after receiving the
    Liability Waiver (Step 5).  Tours will not be offered
    without this document.

  • Please ensure that the money is in our account before the
    tour date; henceforth, plan to pay a few days before
    scheduled trip.

  • Please read carefully.  Personal, bank, or credit union
    checks, etc. WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

  • If your payment method is direct deposit to our bank or
    PopMoney, you will receive a pdf document with pertinent
    information in order to proceed with your payment.  Funds
    in USD should be available immediately.  Do not send
    money to our email or phone through PopMoney, only
    through direct deposit.

  • Tours will not be honored if we do not receive complete
    payment as per these terms unless special agreement has
    been approved by the owner of the company by
    written.  If the owner of the company offers you a special
    discount or payment alternatives, please email us and
    confirm the conversation before submitting any payment
    since you will need a special confirmation number from us.

  • No trip or tour will be honored if the balance due has not
    been received; henceforth, late payment could result in
    automatic cancellation of requested services.

  • On direct deposits, any fee charged by our bank will be
    paid on site, copy of our bank statement will be provided.

  • HOT DEALS require a full non-refundable deposit.

  • The receipt of your payment and/or non-refundable deposit
    shall be deemed to be consent on all steps included in
    these General Terms and Conditions.

  • If you have made a decision on your payment method,
    please complete this form.

IMPORTANT NOTES

Please read this section to learn more on what is or is not included during our tours and activities.

MEALS

  • Eating or drinking is not allowed inside vehicles. Cleaning/Damage Fee will apply if necessary to be paid at the end of the tour or
    activity.

  • Breakfasts, luncheons, and dinners are included only as specified in the itineraries.  On full-day tours, we will stop and provide
    enough time for lunch (not included in price).

ADMISSIONS AND FEES  

  • Entertainment, special events, sightseeing tours, entrance fees, local guides, tips and service charges are not included.

  • If you are traveling with a extended family or a group, please ask them to read these Terms and Conditions.

  • Tips to guides are drivers are not included in price.

PET POLICY

  • Damage fee is applicable and will depend on the type of damage (stains, scratches, bites)--minimum fee will be $150.

TOUR PRICE DOES NOT INCLUDE  

  • All items of a personal nature including wine, liquor, soft drinks, mineral water, laundry, items not on regular menus, travel
    insurance; accident and baggage insurance, end-of-tour gratuity (tip) to your tour manager, tour guide, driver; and for any personal
    service rendered and/or not included as part of the itinerary, and any items not specifically listed as included.

  • Cleaning fee will be charged to groups upon reservation and it applies to the use of any liquid, cream or chemical, including,
    but not limited, sun block, tanning lotions, insect repellent, etc.  Fee will depend on the type of damage to the vehicle.

  • Smoking is not permitted, but if the person does not follows this policy, a cleaning fee of $250 will be charged.

  • Raining?  Please ask the driver if you can keep your rain poncho as some vehicles don´t have waterproof seats.  A cleaning fee
    could applied.

  • Eating or drinking is not allowed in some of the vehicles, please ask before booking.  When booking a group (5 or more
    participants), a $350 cleaning fee will be charged to groups.  The leader of the group is responsible for any cleaning fee.  The
    driver will inspect the vehicle before leaving the group at hotel, airport or port.  If there is no damage, the fee will be returned in
    cash at that moment.  For individuals or groups up to 4 PAX, this fee will be charge at the end of the tour, if necessary.

  • The client is responsible for any damage done to our vehicles or equipment.  These damages are not covered in the tour price and
    will be charged to the leader of the group or individual traveler before the end of the tour or activity.

  • Taxes are not included in the prices published in this website.  Taxes will be added to the total of amount of selected
    services.

  • Entrance fees are not included in many of our tours and activities since they can vary from the time we update the
    page to the time you take the tour, you will need to add the cost of the entrance fees plus taxes.

  • For your protection, it is important and strongly recommended that you have or purchase adequate insurance, including
    trip cancellation and interruption of trip through your authorized travel agent.  

  • LOST & FOUND - Client is responsible for the cost of returning items left in our vehicles.  We encourage our customers to
    gather all your luggage, photo equipment, and any other personal items before drop-off to hotel, port or airport.  Although our
    drivers will do a quick check before they leave, we are not responsible for any item left in our vehicles.

Availability Request form in each one of our
tours and activities.  

Special Terms and Conditions apply to groups, custom tours, and all-inclusive tour
packages.
