This short version of La ruta del
café is available Friday through
Sunday.  We will drive to the
mountains of the small town of
Ciales where we will visit the
Coffee Museum.  You will have
the opportunity to learn about the
history of coffee and taste a cup
of Café Don Pello.  This is an
excellent opportunity to buy local
coffee to take back home as a
gift or for you to taste while
remembering your vacation in

The third theme of this series of heritage tours takes us, first, to the establishment
of the Catholic church in Puerto Rico and its influence:  from the social and religious
development, to the architecture of their temples and local food (

takes you to a historical journey from 1898 through present time while you learn
about the life of Carlos Manuel "Charlie" Rodríguez--both tours depart from San

western side of the Island, and finally a weekend gateway where you will be part of
the celebrations of the Holy Week in Mayagüez.
